BP SENIOR LEVEL LEADERSHIP PORTAL

Client: BP
Project type: Web
My role: UX, UI, Design direction
Agency: Uber Digital
Year: 2015

The BP SLL website is an online learning portal, it aims to support empoyees' transition from a "leading others" to a "leading managers" role in the company. Leadership development often comes with performance issues, so the website offers assistance and relevant material to make the transition smoother and faster.
Uber partnered with the BP Learning Team from the early stage of the project. We helped define the content strategy and the information architecture of the site; we also created static and animated content for the launch.

STYLE GUIDES

We created an extensive UI library and a solid design system that lay the foundations for future extensions of the platform.

ILLUSTRATIONS & INFOGRAPHICS

Illustrations and infographics have been used to explain the most articulated and abstract concepts on the site. The tight connection between the leadership development topic and complex psychology theories made these media essential to simplify the journeys and make them more accessible.

UI ELEMENTS

A significant amount of bespoke tools have been developed to make the experience more engaging and respond to specific user needs.

VIDEO STYLE FRAMES

The design team provided art direction for several motion graphic pieces, all produced in-house by Uber: talking heads, infographics and animated illustrations help the user to explore the key pages of the website.
